The OCC WNBR threads are always the best place to source snaps and vids taken by others. I don't put my snaps anywhere else but Flickr, despite being accused of sharing my images 'on porn websites and forums'
Can't see anything wrong enjoying the pics of people taking part in WNBR rides myself. Can't see anything wrong with sharing the pics I take here among fellow enthusiasts of the ride.

It was sad to read this. Pics and threads at OCC come up very readily now in Google searches.
I am in agreement with the other snappers here - I almost forget some times that OCC is a "porn" forum. The snappers that cover events such as the WNBR and post in the E&V section are a distinct breed. I've gotten to know many of you, and it is our love of these events and those that bravely participate that inspires us to take photos.
But, we get smeared and lumped with the porn addicts. Not long ago, I was wondering if it might be possible for some guidelines to be posted here concerning event photography, something that would also let readers know that we care about these events and the participants, and are respectful of the women that we shoot. So any guidelines would serve a dual purpose - one, to inform new photographers that they need to "put themselves above the pervs" and respect all riders. And two, to let folks on the outside know that event photography is NOT porn, and that we are really scarcely different from other non-porn posting sites when it comes to hosting and enjoying these images.
So, I do believe OCC could help address this issue and find a way to highlight the special nature of event photography while perhaps also distancing it somewhat from the usual "porn" (which I am not going to try and define - everyone has his own definition

).
