Default Evening Gown Match review

Finally saw last night's evening gown match and gonna offer my take on it. The full thing has been uploaded to YouTube (for now anyway) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gc1wpascUeM

Had some good moments, but definitely not as good as it could have been. I know some people don't like the "granny panties," but I personally like them more than thongs. With the bigger panties, it's harder to cover everything, which may cause more embarrassment for the woman, which I like. And to those who say that the underwear was no more revealing than their regular ring attire, there is a difference to it. Ring attire was meant to be seen, so they don't care. However, underwear isn't meant to be seen, so when they get stripped to bra and panties, they desperately try to cover up, which makes it much more exciting and enjoyable to see. It's why I enjoy seeing a woman in her bra and panties much more than a bikini. Just my two cents on it.

Anyway, Brittany was definitely the best part of this match. Loved the attire (green is a favorite color of mine) and she had a really good embarrassed reaction. I like when faces still act embarrassed when they get stripped. Usually, we see faces not really care when they get stripped, or even strip after if they win the match. Imagine if Brittany was a heel and got stripped? Probably would have been even better!

Some decent EUF reactions from Velvet when she got stripped, though I really wish they stayed on her longer. Sadly, that's all the good from this match. Velvet coming back out wearing only a towel made no sense. She was embarrassed to be stripped to her bra and panties, yet had no problem "flashing" the ref? Come on. Also, Madison didn't act embarrassed when she was stripped. I know she was still in pain after getting sprayed in the eyes, but judging from the pictures I posted earlier, she didn't seem to care, which is lame. Lastly, and probably the worst thing about this match, Angelina wasn't stripped. What's the point of the heel winning if she doesn't get stripped anyway and get her comeuppance? Melina Perez has been in 2 televised strip matches, and both times she won but got stripped anyway. Should have had been stripped after the match, as well as have Velvet losing her towel, leading to both of them running to the back embarrassed. Maybe they could have had Gail Kim come out to provide backup? Would make sense since it seems like they're building towards a feud between those two. Put me on the TNA creative team, Coach! I'm ready!

So yeah, TNA didn't do that bad of a job but they kinda dropped the ball here. Hopefully, we won't have to wait too long before they try again. Anyway, hope you enjoyed the review. Sorry if it was kinda long.
