Southern500, just to let you know, about Haulover and South Beach you are absolutely correct, Haulover is nude, and South Beach (from my understanding) is topless. The Florida Sate Parks fall under Florida laws against nudity and there are no State Parks that allow any form of nudity in the Sate of Florida. Canaveral National Seashore (Apollo Beach) is a National Park (as is Playa Linda) run by the U.S Park Service, there is no Federal law against nudity. From my understanding the nude beachgoers used to get hassled by the County Sheriff's officers (at Apollo Beach, and understand it still may happen at Playa Linda) but that does not happen anymore. There are 5 parking lots with limited parking to 30-35 vehicles, and parking, as is speed limit (35MPH) is stricly enforced. Parking Lot 5 is at the end. It has been accepted practice that nudist walk south once on the beach to a point approximately 3/8 to 1/2 mile where they can remove their clothes, sun, and swim nude. I've also been told that since Lot 5 becomes full often, that you may walk south from Lot 4 and also sunbathe nude. The Rangers will patrol also watch from the dunes and any inappropriate will result in a court day in Orlando and a $500.00 fine; that is hearsay,I have not seen that nor talked to anyone that has received such. The further south you go you get into what is known locallyas "Boys Town", a predominant gay area; we stay up front. LOL
The wife and I go pretty often and this is what we have seen and learned. She likes to show her goodies in person and I like for her to do it.
