Sheila and I are just back for seven (dry) days in Hawaii.
All in all had a good time. Boy has it changed in the time I was gone, 45 years... I guess it would. Not to found of sitting 5 1/2 hours in a 737-800 but I guess I can complain. back when I was flying missions to the Vietnam in 68/69 the C-124's took 8 to 10 hours and there were not cocktails either.
I'll send along more pictures as soon as I have time to download and go though them all. Gas was $4.15 a gallon and up, traffic was much worst the over here As they import 88% of everything all the goodies are a 1/2 to double what they are over here. The one exception was Mc Donald's you can still get a cup of coffee or a big drink for a dollar! too... T&S
