yeah, that's my feelings exactly when watching the shows when they were first aired. Also, the heart-shaped censor was a big letdown. It wasn't mentioned when the rules were explained and it would have been so much better without it.
as for Dutch shows where participants were exposed, the best show was 'Over De Roooie' somewhere in the nineties. Random people on the streets were challenged to do embarrassing and sometimes gross stuff in order to win the equivalent of about 450 Euros. Things that happened on the show:
-a girl doing naked horseriding
-opening the door in underwear
-going on the beach and asking women if one can look in their bikini bottoms to see if 1000 Guilders note is in there. (see link below)
-taking a naked bath in public

And these are just a few examples of stuff that was on the show...
Unfortunately, there's not much material from the show out there...
