Well long story short, I lost the bet...
I let my wife pick which team she wanted to pull for since she really doesn't follow all that much about football. She picked the Seahawks because she likes Russell Wilson. That is the only reason she gave me for picking them, at least it wasn't because they have prettier colors lol! I too wanted the Seahawks to win but I was secretly hoping she wouldn't pick Denver because I thought they had a slight edge going in. Anyway...
The stakes we finally agreed on Sunday afternoon were that the loser would have to be the winner's slave, with the amount of time determined by how many points the winner's team beat the loser's. Basically, a touchdown was worth an hour, field goal half an hour, etc. Seemed like an excellent idea at the time, but I'm sure many of you will get a laugh out of these terms since its after the fact LOL. So... 43-8... 35 points... 5 TDs... FIVE FUCKING HOURS! You have to be shitting me! No way did I ever think either of us would wind up stuck for that long! And of course she basically rode my ass talking smack from the first snap... It was a very long game for me haha.
Well I don't know for sure what she has in store for me, but every time I ask her she gives me a huge smile and laughs maniacally. Very unsettling! She has asked me if I still have a set of handcuffs so I have a feeling it will involve them... She also said it will either go down this weekend or the next, depending on "circumstances"... I will keep everyone posted on what happens.
I hate it for the rest of you (and me) that I didn't win! Being my slave for five hours would have been great for everyone, I had some good ideas...
