Just a story
For a good many years, I played in a bar/party band. One time, we played for a summer outdoor wedding. After the ceremony, the reception took the form of a barbeque. The bride and groom changed out of their finery and came back out. We were set up on a stage, actually a very low platform. The bride, in a short skirt, and sans culotte as they say, sat down on the lawn right in front of us, and gave us a nice long look at what the wedding was all about. We used to get glimpses, from time to time, -- when you see the bass and guitar player conferring, it's a good chance that's what they're talking about -- but rarely did we get a 15 minute viewing. One of my fondest memories. Unfortunately, that was before the days of cell phone cameras.
