Thanks, Fango. I love this event - campus runs are great and this is one of the only daytime outdoor runs around, I think. I tried to come a couple of times past but didn't make it in time, or got the wrong day, or something. Not really sure how best to shoot this in terms of technique, timing, or location, but I'm glad I finally got a chance to try.
It's pretty satisfying to walk about with a camera while all these runners hang out, still high from what they just did, while you weave around catching a hundred glimpses of bare audacity and runners' complete comfort in themselves. For 15 minutes, each man and woman out there undressed is royalty to himself and everyone around, and whatever anyone might see as a flaw at other times is purest joy for that moment. Every single person in the crowd is either wishing she'd run too, or saluting the spirit of those who did. You can't help but admire every one of them.
So yeah, OCC exclusive.
