I usually always right click and save as but sometimes I like to Left click to preview except for avi files because they usually don't start playing untill they are finished DL anyway. I only tried to left click because I wanted to see if gawker8s problem was related to mine somehow.
Took a little time but I just fixed mine. It was a browser plug in that was selected in the Quicktime settings under the MIME settings. Not sure if that's the same way I fixed it last time.
Check Control Panel, Quicktime, Browser Plug-in, MIME Settings, Misc - Misc file formats, and unselect Flash file then apply.
Worked for me.
