Did you notice that they had spent time at nude beaches before, but this was quite different? It wasn't the nudity that made it exciting--they had experienced that before. It was up-close intimate nudity with people they already had a relationship. There was likely no sexual tension at all at the nude beach, but the air was thick with it at the cabin.
