Half-naked bar patron causes stir

Authorities say a Baraboo woman donned the standard shirt and shoes required to receive service at most places of business, but lacked another essential article of clothing: Pants.

Baraboo police responded to Poor Richard’s Bar just after 1 a.m. Saturday for a report of “an intoxicated female walking around the bar with no pants” who allegedly was trying to hit and choke customers.

An officer reported that when he arrived on scene, he found that two women had successfully restrained the half-naked bar patron, 30-year-old Diana A. Mountain of Baraboo, in the bathroom. However, their attempts to get her to put her pants back on were less fruitful.

Police eventually placed Mountain in handcuffs, but the report notes that the pantless woman continued to resist and asked officers if they wanted her to “bend over.”
