Years ago a close friend was visiting Anne and myself. The children were safely tucked up and she had indulged in a few drinks when the subject of birthday presents came up. I said I had bought her new underwear and D (our friend) said, in a distracted way, was it nice.
Anne stood up, unzipped her dress and dropped out of it saying, what do you think.....
