I have just read this thread from the start and absolutely loved it so thanks to everyone who has posted. My stories aren't that great and it seemed that I was nearly always the one who missed out. Back in 1970 in the Army where I learned cooking at the end of our training the corporal in charge invited all of the guys to his place for a barbecue lunch and some drinks before we were posted to our various units. Also there has been mention in a couple of posts about women doing things around babies and nursing mothers. I have written this on other threads and can assure you that it is true that the strongest aphrodisiac for a pre-menopausal woman is to be around a lactating female. Apparently the smell sets their hormones pumping and creates a desire to also have children. This is why they get all "clucky" when there is a new baby present and rather than finding this silly or annoying if you are in this situation then milk it (pun not intended but I will take it) for all it is worth. Take your partner to visit family or friends with a new baby and you will be rewarded.
