12) Another of Dr. Seuss’ Legacies

Although he’s most well-known for his series of “Cat in the Hat” books, Dr. Seuss left something else behind as a legacy that had plagued kids for decades, at least until the term started to have a cooler connotation to it. He coined the word “nerd” in his book “If I Ran the Zoo.”

11) Well, At Least It’s a Liquid

You know how you can hear the ocean when you put your ear to a seashell? Well, that sound is not anywhere close to being the ocean. It is actually the sound of blood being forced through the veins in your ear. Try it out, you can hear that same sound just by cupping your hand around your ear.
