My wife and I have had massages (separately) in the past, but she's always talked about a couples massage. On a recent trip to a resort in the Keys, the opportunity came up. When we arrived for the session, the desk clerk told us the couples room had previously been booked and that we could still keep our appointments but they would be in separate rooms. She thought about it first saying ok, but then thinking, no, we wanted a couples session. We were able to reschedule for the next morning first thing.

When we arrived, we went to the changes rooms (separate because they also served as the locker rooms for the pool area outside). We had a short session in the waiting room as they got ready. When we were called in, there was a male and a female masseuse. They asked some basic questions about allergies and injuries, then left. When we removed our robes, we were both nude. Now we have been to clothing optional resorts and the nude beach, but this had a different feel about it. We were going to be naked while they were not.

We got on the tables and covered with the towels. The attendants returned shortly and began. I had a female my wife a male. It seems that they had only one headrest on the table (by design or not I do not know) so I started on my belly, my wife on her back. Then switched. The only thing really that took place with me was this masseuse would go a lot close to my groin area than any in the past and was almost massaging my butt cheeks when I was on my belly. I could not see what was happening with my wife because when I was on my belly, my face was in the headrest. When on my back, my face was wrapped in a warm towel.
