Three years ago in August, I went to the beach with the very rough surf. As it is pretty wild water there most of the crowd is the younger college age group, usually regulars who are in fabulous shape because of the skill necessary to swim there, so it is my favorite beach and I bring my camera. Being August, the local university has just reopened a week or two earlier and the beach crowd is light midweek. I position myself to take shots of the local surfers (yea sure) when a group of 10 college girls show up and put their towels down pretty close to where I am sitting. I can hear them talking and you can hear them explaining how to handle the surf. Their all very lovely coeds, but one catches my eye as she removes her t-shirt and shorts. She is wearing an abbreviated bottom and on top a cute small white strapless top. She is short, maybe 5' and about a hundred pounds, just a petite curvy little redhead. Some of the more experienced coeds are suggesting that she should wear her t-shirt as they look at her bikini top. She will have none of it since she swims all the time in surf like this back home. So soon she and the others are dancing along the shoreline, running in and out as the waves are breaking around them. Laughing and giggling all the time, I notice she slips a little and gets a little knocked around by a relatively small wave. As she is regaining her balance she has her back to the open sea and doesn't see the huge waving coming in behind her. It catches her completely unawares and you see her tossed about. She finally is deposited at the shore line and is hoisting herself up from the water. Unfortunately for her, her top is around her waist. She is finally realizes everyone is pointing and staring at her and she is wrestling her top up to cover herself. Another small wave hits her and some girls rush out and rescue her and help her back to shore. She spent the rest of the afternoon sitting on her towel wearing her t-shirt.
