We would prefer not to make the posting guidelines more restrictive. I know some of you find it annoying when a person's first post is a request, but I'll leave it up to the rest of the members to decide if they want to respond or help this new member out. Everyone that is a member of the forums here start with my respect and I'm not going to fault anyone for making a request without contributing first. Of course, from experience I can see people will have a much greater success rate if they have contributed something to the forums before making requests.

Stories are fine. I enjoy stories quite a lot. I have always requested people share their ENF stories in the ENF forum. People are free to post stories that fit any of the forum's descriptions. Probably one of the photo forums would be the best place to share stories even if photos aren't included. You may want to include the word "Story" in the thread's title.
