Just when it seemed the WNBR had faded until next year, Philly is about to stage another, hopefully, grand finale tomorrow Sunday August 25th 2013.
While details of the actual route won't be emailed to participants until later this afternoon, these details are already known:
Landmark spots along the route will include: Rittenhouse Square, City Hall, Logan Circle, Love Park, Independence Mall and Liberty Lands Park.
The ride will end near the Piazza at Schmidt’s on Hancock Street (you can't make this stuff up

) However, this year naked riders will not be allowed in the plaza, so the riders will stop at an empty dirt lot, nearby, to put some clothing on. And entrance to the afterparty will require dressing too. So what will those naked hula hoop girls do ????
This will be the fifth annual Philly WNBR, and the police department says it doesn't expect any problems, and while public nudity is against local laws it expects individual police officers to once again "look the other way."
Body painting and ride assembly will start at 2-pm, with the ride itself getting underway at 4-pm. That location hasn't been "officially" released but a section of Fairmont Park has been used in years past.
The weather is expected to be "perfect" with clear sunny skies, and temperatures in the 80s Fahrenheit.
More details can be found by googling "Philly WNBR." The Philly ride has been increasing in popularity each year, let's hope this is the biggest ride yet.
