I do sympathise if those that do distribute images around have caused you embarrassment but very simply Grimsby Girl if you do not want members of your family, your boss, your work colleagues to see images of yourself, naked, semi naked etc, then do not stand in front of a camera. It's as simple as that.

I certainly was naive at the time for standing in front of the camera of someone who couldn't be trusted, and I have never stated that in my posts I believed images would not be downloaded, shared etc.
I wasn't looking for sympathy for my embarrassment and I don't particularly appreciate your patronising tone; I asked a question asking how many of you knew the people in the pictures you post, and also the reasons why people posted them, particularly of people they don't know, have never met and so would be unable to reasonably ascertain that the person in the photo has given their consent to it being posted/shared.
I also hope that I won't find
if I choose to stand in front of a camera, especially without my clothes on, in or out of a relationship, that the person I trust with those pictures would respect me enough not to share them with others without my prior consent. From the personal inbox replies I have received to my question, I am led to believe that there may people out there who indeed wouldn't do that and I thank those responders for taking the time to talk to me further about it.
