... As much as they promote their "Sin City" name, Las Vegas really has a strong Mormon influence, especially in politics and banking.
VR is absolutley right. Vegas likes to suggest it's a wild city (and it can be that in places and the right times) but the object is to part tourists from their money. No one will build a billion dollar mega-hotal without expecting a return on their investment.
But, it's still a fun place.
