Based on the theory that a picture is better than lengthy descriptions, I've used snapshots of the MPC and VLC menu options for making caps. Also, MPC has an option to make a thumbnail page.

For my own amusement, I previously created a 20 second slide show video from a personal webcam. I'm using that little video for illustration purposes.
