The Day.
Its about 80 here and there where lots of riders, Hundreds!!! I think this could be yet another record year for turn out. I was set up near the end of the parade route, but it got so packed with spectators I couldn't get good angles. lots of elbows and people just moving infront of me. I was pretty much standing in the parade route too. I tried to move to a better spot and no dice.
I then figured I'd head into Gasworks Park for some standing posed shots. Just as i whip out the camera, I hear some lady riders yell out, "Dude thats enough pictures!" An older gentleman was about 20 feet from they asses taking photos.
Yikes!!! "Thanks for ruining the fun..." My camera when back into the bag as the area was very nervous, I didn't hightail it, I just casually strolled along. I will say there are some spectacular ladies i didn't capture, I maybe got a fraction of a fraction of the riders.
I say scour the internet there will be some great gems this year!
It was good to be back for the first time in a couple of years. I didn't get all of the shots i wanted, but i got a few good ones to start us off with.
