Default THANK YOU, UK SNAPPERS!

let me take a moment to give a big thanks to all of these great, original pics from you UK snappers (as you call them - i think "snapper" beats "photog" which is the term I tend to use. Also, I am getting more educated in "UK speak" all the time, "whilst" I ever "get my kit off" at these events to snap pics (which BTW may seem devious to some of you, but I dunno, I think a naked "snapper" is less threatening somehow). But if I ever get my kit off at a WNBR (wait - I did once, in 2009) it would probably be all too tempting to go from there and just grab the nearest bike and start pedaling!!

Anyway, I am particularly appreciative of all of the great pics of this girl below, who, if you ever wanted to know what type of girl Klondike really likes, well - she's got what it takes. Bangs. Strawberry blonde hair. Tall. A natural and athletic looking girl. Great smile. fun attitude. It doesn't get much better than that!! It would take a HUGE amount of effort to pull me away from the local Portland ride, but if anyone could do it, SHE COULD!

EDIT: there has been more than the usual amount of talk about "pervy snappers" this year, and so I just want to remind people of what I wrote yesterday. Conrad Schmitt (the original organizer of the whole WNBR thing) WANTS you there with your camera as long as you are respectful. It sounds as though there are still some cops, riders, etc who have not read his book "The World Naked Bike Ride". Hell, if it were me, i'd wear a T-shirt maybe quoting Conrad, or come armed with little cards or something quoting him. Because some still need to be reminded that the purpose of the nudity, in Conrads own words, is to attract media (a.k.a snappers, photogs, etc) attention. Don't abuse your privilege, but if no one showed up to take pics, there would be a heck of a lot of people that would be severely disappointed!!
