Post Brighter?

I had a play with the file and while my media player does allow you to increase brightness, contrast, saturation etc, I'm not sure that it while give the result you're looking for. It's just a brighter grainier version of what you see already.

I think what you are asking for is for the really dark part in the middle to be brighter, but unfortunately that's how it was on TV. You just can't get detail out where it doesn't already exist. Sorry.

The best bet would be if someone had a DVD version or a Hi-Def TV broadcast, then you might get a better result. The show does get repeated every now and then...
