Well, the problem is the costs have always been high in France. And then they increased the taxes a lot the past few years, plus the real estate prices haven't done down at all. So the prices have stayed about the same (during the peak season, Eden was at 350/night in 2009, is still at 350/night in 2013), but businesses obviously make less profit.

Meanwhile, in Spain, salaries and real estate have gone way down. So prices can be a lot more attractive.
