Rockfest this year was just as much of a blast as it has been in years past. It was sunny, warm, wonderful music and people.

For this year's photography of Rockfest I've made some changes...
Last years photos were stolen many times. Some thieves posted them in contests on other web-sites and attempted to win $ prizes for them. Others lied about their origins bragging about their experiences. Others copied my descriptions of events verbatim. This was a serious pain in the neck almost to the point that I seriously considered not posting them at all. DCMA takedown notices are the minimum response this year.

There is no expectation of privacy for what you do in public. But, like last year, I will honor any request for images to be removed by the ladies who have decided they do not want their likeness on the internet. That is a major reason why I have fought to keep these images in one location.

Second, in learning more about photography I decided to shoot most of these in manual setting for more control. This had advantages and disadvantages, for example, there was more control over exposure but also not always time to make the adjustments.
Third, the images this year will be downloaded at a slower pace particularly in the beginning. I'm still sorting through them and attempting to organize them. This is a lot of work. Thanks for your patience. Here is a sample.
