No tan lines can get you in trouble.
When we were in college my GF used to hang out at my house all the time for the pool privileges, if not for me. This was in the 60's and nice girls didn't have sex, unless they were engaged or something. The rules were broken by everyone, you just didn't let parents in on the secret.
My house was mostly empty, my father traveled a lot and my mother had a career and was home in the evenings only, older brothers & sisters were long gone. So GF and I each had no classes on Tuesdays & Thursdays, she'd show up around lunch, we'd eat, screw, then go skinny dip and layout in the nude. The perfect life for a whole semester or two.
The funny part was when her mother walked into her bathroom when she was taking a shower to bring her a towel. The she looked at her naked 18 y/o daughter for a few seconds then said, "you have such a beautiful tan for this early in the season, but what I want to know is why you don't have even the hint of a tan line, even on your butt".
My GF tried to stammer out an explanation (there were no tanning salons back then), but was cut off by her mother, "I presume since your BF has a pool that you have been taking advantage of it while he takes advantage of you."
Then her mother gave her the mother daughter quiz about birth control, so all ended well I suppose. Her parents gave me the evil eye every time I came over in the future.
