Not at all. I had no problem getting shots and never saw the police hassling women unless they were showing down below. There did seem to be fewer photographers than normal and the crowds seemed to be smaller. Locals thought that was because of the SuperBowl weekend one week earlier, or perhaps cancelled flights from the eastern seaboard with their storm.

Weather was supposed to be bad, and did really beat up northern Louisiana, but most rain happened in the mornings in New Orleans.

There was a shooting on Bourbon Street on Saturday night with one target by three bystanders caught in the crossfire. The police locked people in the bars on that block for an hour and then the street was open as usual with people throwing beads from the balcony above the shooting site. The local paper played it down, and the shooter was in custody the next day.
