I told her that she was with her friends and seemed to be having fun. I didn't want to bother them but I did want them to feel welcome. She told me how sweet that was and said it was ok to join them, so I did.
As I sat there talking to them, I maintained my attention on my girl and was being nice to her friends.
When a song came on the juke box, I excused myself and asked my girl to dance.
