Thank you for the Buick info, Sonny. I guess in 57 or thereabouts, Buick, Cadillac and Chevy were all making different V8 motors, with about the same horsepower. And now, I have to post my favourite Buick pic of all time. Sad and sorry to say this, but no chicks on this one.

I'll add another photo to compensate a little. It's a Beetle, 72, I think, but there is a beautiful hippy chick decorating the hardtail Harley in the foreground. Harley fans, please ID the bike. The kick-starter says sixties or seventies. Unlike the hippy chick, that Harley must have been an absolute dog to ride - look at that horrible back tire.
Thanks to Sparky45 for correcting me on the blonde (I mean the Mitsubishi!). Sorry Kariba, those Polaroids of the farmers daughters turned to dust a looonng time ago! Correct, from 49-55 all GM divisions developed their own V-8 engine lines sharing only body shells (Body by Fisher) & adding their own front clip, bumpers, trim, etc. to complete a particular brand. I apprenticed in a family owned Buick only dealership in the early 1970s. So we essentially worked only on Buick, Oldsmobile & Cadilllac due to their similarities. As for the Harley, the license plate shows 1974 Indiana. Typical chopper build of the day from the midwest USA. It looks to be an "old" hardtail(pre-58) 74 with a Sportster gas tank. & what could be the 4.00X18 rear tire. Judging from levers and hardware on lower left of the machine it might also be a foot clutch, hand shift model. I rode a 49 "74" with an 86 cubic inch big bore kit, same sportster tank, foot clutch, hand shift. But I retained the 5.00X16 tire. As set up I could generally beat most cars with motors under 400 ci and yes, they definitally contributed to gray hair.........but you talk about one helluva chick magnet
