The guy on the floor is costume designer Sharon Day's assistant. It was this lucky sod's job to strip Heather of her dress.
This is only noticeable on the 35mm trailer reel. I originally scanned these from the cine film but when I got the trailer converted to digital, the bottom of the clip was out of the frame so this version, doing the rounds at the Zapped club and youtube, has Heather's shoes missing. Notice she's wearing blue flat shoes for steadiness rather than her costume pink high heels.
