As I was talking to her, I realized she had thought I was buying her company for the evening. I explained to her that I was not, I was thanking her for treating me well. If she wanted to, she is welcome to stay with no strings attached, or she could go if she wished and no hard feelings. She opted to stay and we went upstairs to the more vanilla side for a while.
