But it could be a beach in the Languedoc/Occitane region although. There are several beaches like one between Port Gruissan and Les Ayguades (campings) and one south of Port La Nouvelle where you can drive with the car on the beach. However, i've been to Port Gruissan years ago and i don't think it looks like it's shot there, regarding to the mountain in the background.
