ON a Mac when I double clicked on the archive, it simply created another archive in the same folder, normally a Zip (and a RAR) will extract into the same folder when clicked like this.
i suspect the archive was made with a different tool which the native Mac decompressor didn't like
Using WinZip Mac I opened the archive normally.
