I have been thinking about this and i think that women answer so quickly is because they also get a thrill from telling and from the guy stewing about it once he is told. I'm sure this is obvious to everyone but that is the conclusion that i drew.
I especially love the "i showed him" parts, which just makes it all the hotter, no matter what the relationship.
