well, nothing concrete to go on again, but thinking about it sensibly leaves a lot to imagine.
she went for him at around 20 to 6 in the evening. he lives the other end of town about a 10 min drive away. so, logically from 20 to 6, my wife should have been bringing him into our house at just slightly after 6 give or take some minutes.
again, i kept an eye on the time and they didn't roll in until about 25 to 7! So a 20 minute round trip had managed to last 55 minutes!
I said to them when they got in 'jesus, where the hell have you been?' My mate said, sorry for being so late, i got back from work later than i expected so i was taking a shower still when your wife called round and then had to get ready.
Again, the wife looked a bit flustered in the face. It had been very hot that day, but that's maybe finding excuses.
I mentioned it again last night, saying i couldn't believe he didn't text me to tell me he had got back late and she just responded without much interest, saying 'yeah, i suppose that is bad of him'.
