The famous San Francisco philosopher, Harry Callahan, put it this way:
"You've got to ask yourself a question. 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do you, punk?"
There are three outcomes. Two of which are not good. #1: she'll hate it and it will be your fault. #2: she'll like it, but will feel very guilty about it, and it will be your fault. #3: she'll like it, and appreciate that you like her enjoyment, feel the same way about you, and everything will work out.
Think about the Callahan question. You know your wife, I'd don't so I can't tell you what to do.
