Before recently going on holiday to Ibiza, I struggled to find up to date details about Espalmador Mud. For anyone wishing to visit, here goes. From Ibiza, you need to get to Formentera by ferry (The first Aqua Bus leaves at 9.00, costs 19 Euros return and takes one hour and ten minutes). On reaching La Sabina port, you need to get to the other end of the port (by the Tourist Information Office) to catch the small Bania ferry that takes you to Espalmador. The cost is 20 Euros and departures are between 10.15 and 13.15. When reaching Espalmador, turn left along the beach and at the end you will find a clearly marked footpath leading to the salt pans where the mud is.
