Let me clear this up. The physical upload limits have never changed since we first opened the forums.

You may upload photos up to 300 kb per photo.
You may upload videos up to approx. 10 MB per video.
You may upload .ZIP files up to 10 MB.

As a courtesy we ask that individual users do not upload more than 20 MB of combined material per day.
