Look at today in the park. It's the 20th July and we've got 19° with no sun! What a fuc*ing year this is. Take a look at the clouds yourself. It's no good going to Paris to see the steps at the Opéra or the Sacré Coeur; there are next to no tourists and the few about are all in trousers.
As for the under the table shots, I've got a Canon IXUS 9515 which slips into the palm of the hand. Keep it in one hand the same as a magician holds his cards without being seen, open your knees, slip both hands between them and lean forward so your chest touches the edge of the table. Manipulate the camera for a few seconds then straighten up. Practice makes perfect but my trouble is my wife is nearly always beside me so I've really had to master the art.
