The week before the T.O. Pride Parade is always a fun week. There are a ton of parties and events going on around the city that draw huge crowds and it's a great atmosphere. All of that leads up to the main weekend with the dyke and pride parades which is always a a good time. Thousands of people turn out to watch the parades.

Some of his photos are below as well as some other random Flickr finds I stumbled across... wish I could give them credit too but I don't remember where I found them unfortunately  But credit to all the original posters and a big thanks! thanks for the report, and thanks to C_Dick for his "point of view". I know Eric Parker as he is a Flickr friend and the one that first tuned me into the Toronto Pride Parade.
So, but why is Toronto's Parade the best in North America (or so I recall hearing or reading)? I wonder if its not really any bigger, but just more naked. And then I wonder if there is a french influence like at Wreck Beach in Vancouver, BC. Without the french, there might arguably be no Wreck Beach.
