We used to load up the cars and hit the club for amateur night. We'd have bikini contests, wet t-shirt contests, wet nightgown contests. All (except the one at the outside pool deck on Ft. Lauderdale beach), would involve nudity.
It was mostly pros though (I got to know some of the girls from other clubs). They said it was common for club owners to contact dancers from other clubs to pad the numbers on amateur night. they like to have at least 5 'contestants'. But you'd get some pretty good true amateurs. They were always fun, because you knew these were the girls who were truely putting it out there for the first (and maybe last) time. Some would only go as far as topless. Others down to panties. Some were offered jobs (don't know how many actually accepted). Ah, brings back memories.
