I don't know, but its interesting you bring up "off topic" because I was just about to do the same. Thats because my personal copy of the brand spanking new "World Naked Bike Ride" book just arrived in the mail! It is chock full of pics including one by yours truly (which is why I received a copy of the book), but there is also some fairly meaty text mixed in. So, yeah, since the book is sort of a tribute to the WNBR, having a tribute-like thread for this event would make some sense (not so as to scan pics from the book and post them, seeing as how they were generally obtained from on line sources anyway). But I do plan to spend a little time with the book, and will share with you whatever I think is worth sharing. For example, there is this tidbit regarding the WNBR and photo-publicity:

"It is important to keep in mind that the WNBR was created with the express intention of attracting media attention to the event explicitly through the use of nudity".

Translated - without photographers to document it, the WNBR has no real purpose..

Also, and may I now cynically add - it was also perhaps created in part to generate an income through book sales to one Richard Foley and one Conrad Schmitt......OK, maybe I'm stepping over the line a bit there....but in any case, if you are so inclined to want to own a copy of this book (please, don't get the impression that photo-wise it could ever compete with an OCC thread - the pics are quite small, lo res, and feature and equal number of men and women) - you can go to this website for more details:

and if anyone wants to start a tribute thread to the WNBR, be my guest... Perhaps I will intersperse quotes from the book with the pics you all put up....
