I found out the the nude scenes were removed from the US version but left in the European version. The violence was removed from the Eruopean version but left in the US version. The other story is when the movie "Jaws" was released I was visting my Aunt and Uncle and my cousins wanted to see the movie. My Aunt was more worried about my 15yr old male cousin seeing the the girl swimming in the opening scene instead of the other scenes in the movie. I am proud to be from the US and grateful for the opportunities here. But I agree with you Huachafo, I think there is something a little skewed with our acceptance of violence and opposition to nudity here.
