I suppose a stomping is a possibility, lol. I purchased a brand new HD cam recently for about $100, and it has nearly as long a zoom as yours. We should actually be about even because while I've heard of a 52x zoom, it's not all optical. I am not aware of an HD camcorder that goes that high.
