Why is there seldom (never?) and labia detail in Anime?
In answer of this question essentially it boils down to you can blame the Americans for that. You see back after the second world war American Comic codes of censorship were brought down very hard on Japanese work aka Manga. And it's kind of stuck since then. Oh and this is also the reason why so many anime girls get attacked by tentacled monsters. Hope this clears things up for you.
