bignose71,
You've got some fair questions so I'll try to answer in two parts.
First, we don't support uploading .RAR files for two reasons. One, it isn't a great solution because most PC's don't come bundled with a RAR program and it can be a hassle to help people with different operating systems download the software. Asking people to download a lot of pieces and then putting them back together is a pain in the ass when there is a better solution.
Second, is related to bandwidth. Boring to talk about but it is a great expense. With the 10MB per file upload limit and a suggested 20 MB per day limit, it is easier for us to manage our daily traffic. Right now you guys are downloading an obcene 200 - 250 gigabytes a day from One Click Chicks. If we let people upload larger files (split with RAR) on a daily basis without any moderation our bandwidth bill would make us go bankrupt.
We are happy to host the best material uploaded to the FTP server.
I hope this makes sense and answers your questions.
Thanks
