Default Going high tech.

My wife worked overtime Thursday and Friday, Or so she said. Since My wifes friend doesn't visit very often, I don't have anyway to find out about my wifes "overtime'. They do talk on the phone about once a week, sometimes more. Friday night I ordered a device that I can plug into a phone jack and listen to their conversations. this device doesn't give off the tell tale noises that listening in on a regular phone does, or so it claims. It should be here early this week.

I have searched on line, and has far as I can tell this device is not illegal to use in our state, as long as it is being used in my own home. We have a three car garage with a small work shop in it. I have two phone jacks in the garage, one for the phone and one I was going to hook a computer up too, for looking up online advice when I'm working on projects around the house. I never hooked up the computer, so I will use this jack for my listening device. I have already moved my large tool chest in front of the phone jack , so my wife won't see the listening device.

Now, when my wife and her friend are on the phone, I will tell the wife I am going out to the garage to work on something, and I can listen into all their latest escapades. The only problem will be if they talk while I'm at work, but I don't think this will be a problem since they usually phone each other in the evening.

When my new toy gets here, and I use it for the first time, if I find out anything interesting, I will post as soon as possible.

I'm hoping, I can find out in advance when and where my wife is meeting with her coworker, and I can sneak up on them and watch their fun.
