Default Silent Comedy Matchmaking Mamma

Found this 1929 silent comedy "Matchmaking Mamma" and it features a couple of cute embarrassing moments.

Around the 3:00 minute mark, a man loses the cuff of his shirt after shaking hands with a society matron. The cuff falls into the sleeve of her dress. When he tries to retrieve it, the man pulls the right side of her dress off, exposing more than she'd like. Maybe I'm seeing things, but her bra looks pretty transparent to me!

Later at the 5:25 mark, the young heroine realizes that the food in the oven is starting to burn. She looks around for a pair of pot holders, but there are none to be seen. So she lifts the front of her dress and uses it to hold the pan. As she does, the young boy enters the room. Though it's in black & white it sure looks like her face is blushing as she tries to find a place to put the pan down and cover up her legs. The boy looks like he's enjoying the show. I sure did!

I hope fans of this kind of comedy enjoy it too!
