Cool. Apparently it's a major tourist spot. It seems like a lot of women visit when they are in Ghana.

One of the other places in the world where women are often expected to be topless is the islands of Yap in Micronesia. I've posted a few stories of women who dress in native clothing (topless) when they are sworn in to the Peace Corps. And on some of the more remote islands women (and men) are required to be topless.

There is a new book out about a family that became marooned on one of the islands and the woman went topless to try to adapt to their custom...
